Babatunde Kesa is a Lagos-based painter and emerging sculptor motivated by his environment, personal experiences, and cultural heritage. As a visual storyteller, he uses his art to inspire self-reflection, resilience, and a higher state of consciousness. 

Graduating with distinction in Painting from Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State, Nigeria, he is known for his signature style defined by bold, colourful palettes and expressive compositions. Influenced by colourists and abstract expressionists, his work channels life, thoughts, and emotions into powerful visual narratives. 

Kesa believes in art as an instrument of transformation, encouraging viewers to awaken from an unconscious state of mind and engage with deeper truths. He draws inspiration from everyday experiences, community interactions, and personal aspirations, ensuring that each piece speaks to a sense of purpose and identity. 

With a growing presence in both local and international exhibitions, Kesa continues to elevate the perception of art as a valuable means of expression, crafting works that are as thought-provoking as they are visually striking.
